I {Heart} Faces Weekly Challenge | Purple

This week @ I {Heart} Faces the challenge is PURPLE. The first image that came to my mind was the one I took for Emeric Photography a couple of weeks ago. Jessie totally rocked this pose and guess what? She is wearing purple! YAYNESS!You can see the rest of the pics from this fun shoot HERE . I enjoyed photographing them so much. Love the lighting! Did you use any lighting equipment?

Thank you Jennifer! Yes, I did OCF with this image. Set up was to the right of my camera, shoot through, and done in full sun.

LOVE this one! Beautiful! I also love how on the part of her dress (thats flipped up a little) is purple too!

KAP Lightroom Presets

The other night at my going away dinner ( insert sad face here ) we started talking about how Kelsey always gets asked about her post processing steps. The talk of her selling her them came up as part of the discussion. We know she is going to make a lot of people happy that she decided to do it! I was lucky enough to try them out for her in-between getting our family ready to move. I can always make time for pictures!I felt like a kid at Christmas getting these presets! SCORE!The fact that she named them to go with the Vegas theme is totally rad! She is a girl after my own heart!

These are far from award winning pictures. I managed to snap these 2 pics just to try out the presets and post for the world to see how easy these presets can transform a picture with a click of your mouse ( or Wacom Tablet Pen) . I can’t believe the movers will be here tomorrow and I am possessing pictures. I have issues…. lol.

Meet Emeric Photography | Fun in the Vegas Sun

I met Jessie and Jason during the I Heart Faces Photo Walk Across America. They are a husband/wife photography duo. You can find here work HERE. We hit it off right from the start! A few weeks went by and they contacted me asking if I would do their family portraits and take some fun shots for their website! I was all over it!We talked over the details and I asked if they would allow me to do my favorite style of photography during part of the session. Anyone that knows me, knows I love me some OCF ( off camera flash ).

It was 115 degrees outside but we worked through it. The kids were done in about 2.2 seconds but after that we drove to a location that I have been dying to use for a shoot. It was on my list of things to do before I move from Vegas. We almost died of a heat stroke, tetanus, a rain storm ( yes it actually rained in Vegas and we stopped what we were doing to dance in it ) and chapped skin but hey, anything for photography right?This has to be one of my favorite shoots ever! I had so many images to pick from but I managed to narrow it down to these.

From the 2.2 seconds the kids gave us.

Now we head off for some OCF fun!

We found out it was about to rain and cool off from 115 degrees to 103 degrees. This was Jessie’s reaction.

For some strange reason I can’t stop singing the Doodlebops song “Let’s get on the bus” when I look at these pictures. lol

This may be one of my favorite images ever! Have I mentioned how much I love OCF? Jessie, you totally rocked this pose!
